PARAMEDIC, ONLINE/ON CAMPUS (PRE-REQUISITES REQUIRED)
Paramedics provide advanced pre-hospital emergency care to the sick or injured and possess the knowledge and skills to perform advanced emergency interventions. Basic computer skills and high-speed internet access required. This course meets Idaho and NREMT standards for obtaining an EMT-Paramedic license. Upon successful completion of this 15-month program, students must pass written and practical exams for licensure. Call for more information. Prerequisites required.
Hours: Classroom/Lab 138, Online 372, Clinical 250, Field 350. Actual hours may vary per student to meet minimum competencies in all program phases.
The 2021 Paramedic program is a hybrid course. Students will learn through online, face-to-face, clinical and field training rotations.
