CNA Skill Testing

The CNA Skill Test is required by Federal Law for a Nursing Assistant to be placed on the Idaho Registry. You must have completed and passed an approved CNA course in order to sign up for this test. Please call our office to register for the next available skills test - 208-792-2388

*** You must pass the skill test prior to taking the CNA written exam. To schedule your WRITTEN test, please contact the LC State Testing Center at 208.792.2100

** Plan to spend UP TO FOUR HOURS onsite as you will be playing the role of a candidate volunteer, as well as the candidate. ** Candidates are encouraged to bring study materials so they can be reviewed while waiting to test. *YOU MUST PRESENT A VALID PHOTO ID.* Due to limited testing availability, we request that cancellations occur no less than 24 hours prior to your scheduled test to receive a refund or credit toward a future appointment. If you do not cancel 24 hours prior to testing, you will forfeit payment for the test. In addition, if you cancel more than two (2) times, you will be charged the testing fee for all reschedules. Please call 208-792-2388 to cancel and/ or reschedule your appointment. PARKING: Please be aware that LC State campus security tickets vehicles without parking permits. The campus map attached has highlight the locations with free street parking. Students are encouraged to contact security directly at 208-792-2226 or security@lcsc.edu to acquire a day parking pass. Please allow a minimum of 24-hours to obtain pass. FOOD & DRINK: Candidates are welcome to bring food or drinks to the testing site while waiting to test. There is also a vending machine available on the first floor of the building.
