Prior to enrolling in Electrical Apprentice 2B Online, you must have completed the specified prerequisites (if you have not taken a prerequisite, you can click on the catalog code link to see a list of upcoming course sections):
Electrical professionals must understand the fundamentals of electricity and the components used to generate, control, and store it. By completing the Idaho required 4 years of related instruction for an Electrical Apprentice, you will be well on your way to an exciting career as a Journeyman.
Basic computer skills and high-speed internet required. Textbooks are not included in course cost.

Electrical Apprentice Year 1 Correspondence
LCSC's Workforce Training offers the first step to a career. By completing the 4-year Idaho required instruction course of study for Electrical Apprentice you will be well on your way. This is a full year program with a fall and spring semester. It is highly recommended, though not required, for students participating in the course work to already be employed in the trade to help complete the Idaho required on-the-job training hours needed to test for the Journeyman license.
