Food Safety Manager Certification
The Idaho Food Code will require all licensed food establishments to have at least one Certified Food Manager on staff by July 1, 2018. It will be mandatory for these establishments to be in compliance by that date. To adhere with Idaho Law you can purchase the Management Principles Food Safety Manager study manual, study at your convenience and then with the voucher, take the certification exam at Lewis-Clark State College’s Testing Center. This certification is approved by local health departments and is valid for five years.
