Food Manager Certification

The Idaho Food Code will require all licensed food establishments have at least one Certified Food Manager on staff by July 1, 2018. To comply with this mandatory law, at least one manager must attend this 6 hour training followed by a nationally approved certification exam. The training and exam are administered by a certified food safety instructor. This certification is approved by local health departments and is valid for five years. Students must bring a valid form of identification to take the exam.
